LV / MV / HV conductors

Rigid Stranding Machines

Rigid stranding lines for 630 mm bobbins with batch loaders, producing conductors for LV, MV and HV power cables and overhead conductors (AAC, AAAC, ACSR). The machine also handles copper wire and tape screening, pre-spiralled sector conductors and steel wire armouring.

• Every cage, pre-spiralling head, taping head, capstan and take-up is separately driven
• All cages load simultaneously, cutting loading time to 30 minutes at most
• Simotion control synchronises the entire line accurately
• Lay is entered on the operator touch screen instead of set on a gearbox; any value in range can be achieved
• Controlled stop on power failure, protecting the product
• Fully welded rigid cage, manufactured and machined in-house
• Cage driven through timer pulley and belts in normal running; a separate gearbox is used for loading
• Bobbins held by spring pressure with a secondary positive lock; pneumatic release under 6 bar
• Constant bobbin back-tension through an electro-pneumatic valve, with single-bobbin rotation sensed electronically
• Hydraulic loader at the side of the cage for loading and unloading

Fork-type and cage-type armouring machines for 400, 500 and 630 mm bobbins, sized to the customer's bobbin count: 24, 30, 36, 48, 54, 60, 72, 84, 90 or 96 bobbins, in single or multiple cages. Used for round and flat steel wire armouring and copper screening, for low and high voltage cables.

Copper bunching · DT-630 MC

Double Twist Bunching Machines

The DT-630 MC is a single-bow double twist machine for take-up reels up to 630 mm flange dia, with take-up tension control and microprocessor control. It bunches and strands plain and tinned copper; each rotation of the bow puts in two twists.
