During a career that spans over four decades, Mr. Prashant Somani, as Managing Director, leads and determines the strategic direction of the company. With his aptitude for management and finance, he is both a respected leader and an advisor to the company, its portfolio of products and its subsidiaries. Under his management, Redaelli India Private Limited metamorphosed into a conglomerate with a variety of companies under its name. He also helms the company's latest venture, which deals with specialised welding. Under Mr. Somani's dynamic leadership, the company continues to evolve and diversify.

Having devoted over two decades to the company, Mr. Dhruv Somani is an integral part of Excel Craft. With a versatile skill-set and acute expertise in management, he is a key decision maker in areas including human resources, finance, operations and strategic management. Backed by a team of experienced professionals, he also oversees his textile manufacturing and processing business, which produces and prints a variety of fabrics for leading exporters and buying houses. His practical knowledge and ability to adapt make him an indispensable resource to the company.

Mr. Biswajit Ganguly is a thorough professional in wire, cable and rope making machines. As Chief Operating Officer he sets and evolves the strategic direction for the company and its portfolio of products. He has more than three decades of experience in the wire, cable and rope industry, with a strong track record of driving a technology-based approach, executing business turnarounds and managing successful businesses, and commands respect in the wire industry globally. He worked with Usha Martin's machinery division for 22 years, joined Excel Craft in 2009, and has become a driving force in its growth, responsible for the strategy and execution of the company's goals.

With 30 years of overall experience, Mr. Mathur joined Excel Craft in 2002 and has held a range of positions, from technology improvement to new product development in wire, cable and rope making machinery. Before that he spent eight years with GEW Limited across projects, maintenance and product development for wire and cable, and began his career as a service engineer in 1991 with Pertech Computers. He mentors our team of engineers.

Associated with Excel Craft since its inception in 2005, just after the acquisition of Redaelli (India). A mechanical engineer with a master’s degree in business administration, Mr. Maney brings over 32 years of experience in high-value capital machinery, combining technical expertise, techno-commercial acumen, application engineering, marketing, business development and customer relationship management. He spent close to a decade with Kirloskar Pneumatics, Elliott of the USA and Columbia of the USA in infrastructure-related machinery, and more than two decades in the wire, rope and cable machinery field with Usha Martin Limited and Excel Craft Pvt. Ltd., contributing to the development of reliable, application-focused and commercially viable machinery solutions.
